Spring is on the way!

Tuesday 25th February 2014 

This afternoon we spent a pleasant hour or so wandering around the Winter Garden at Dunham Massey admiring the many snowdrops, daffodils and irises.  Spring might just be on the way!

    How did you find the new Visitor Centre?
    Was it 'Spring-like' on the Dales Way?
    You don't half get about - you must go to work for a rest!

      The new Visitor Centre seemed mostly good, although the cafe was smaller than I expected it would be. Have you visited it yet?

      The only signs of Spring on the Dales Way were the many snowdrops around! Other than that, the hail storms and blustery winds made it feel more like winter!

    I was disappointed with the new Visitor Centre, but I went just after it opened and they hadn't got their act together.
    Jacob has a throat infection so we won't be down tomorrow, though I may speed past on my bike...
